Rcktmom, LLC
Rcktmom, LLC leverages the experience of its Owner/Principal Consultant, Nancy Lindsey, to meet your engineering needs - with meaningful analysis, assessment, and results, or more advanced research/support. With over four decades of aerospace engineering experience,
Nancy provides Rcktmom, LLC with unique and expert
consulting service capabilities in systems engineering, mission assurance,
reliability analysis, and model-based engineering for any enterprise.
She has supported a wide range of missions across NASA, defense,
commercial, scientific, servicing (for the Hubble Space Telescope (HST)), and remote sensing high-risk, high-value projects/missions,
with deep involvement in:
- Systems and Reliability
Engineering across full aircraft (F-14) and many many space mission life cycles
- Safety
and Mission Assurance (SMA) strategy, policy, guidance, and requirement
development/implementation support
- Reliability,
Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) analyses/assessments (FMECA,
FTA, Lifetime, Stress, Sparing, FDIR)
- Risk
analysis and failure/performance modeling (PRA, Bayesian predictions, Simulations)
- Model-Based
Engineering (MBE) focused on mission assurance assessment and
simulation to enable efficient, accurate, and consistent results
- Space,
ground, and airborne system development, manufacturing, integration, and operations (including anomaly
support/analysis)
- Focused Software, Database, and Website Support (e.g., HTML Development, Logic Checking/Debugging, and Information Retrieval Optimization)
- Human
factors and flight safety training (including U.S. Navy F-14 pilots)
- Space-environment
and systems research, characterization, protection, and sustainment
- Post-mission
disposal probability estimating, planning, and compliance assessment
In addition, Nancy has had many diverse roles - vendor, contractor, systems engineer, SMA engineer, branch head, team lead, review board member, staff engineer, Deputy NASA Technical Fellow, and RMA Subject Matter Expert - that have made her an exceptional communicator that can synthesize highly complex results and information into understandable presentations and reports tailored for any stakeholder or audience. As a result, she is a published researcher in aerospace systems/environments, reliability, policy, and physics-of-failure methodologies and holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Aeronautical Engineering - Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, M.S. in Space Studies - University of North Dakota, and Topgun/Flight Training certifications - US Navy.
